Watermelon granita

 

Ingredients

1 watermelon | 220 g of sugar (optional)

 

Preparation

Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove the seeds. Pour the watermelon chunks in a blender and mix until mashed (add sugar if watermelon is not quite sweet in your taste). Pour into a large dish and place in the freezer for 4 hours, while scraping the surface every hour in order to get the slush. To serve, pour the slush into small glasses.

 

 

Watermelon salad with feta

 

Ingredients

500 g of watermelon | 300g of feta | 4 sprigs of mint | 4 tablespoons of oil | Salt, pepper

 

Preparation

Cut watermelon and feta into cubes. Pour into a bowl, sprinkle with fresh mint and spray with olive oil.
Toss well and serve fresh.

 

 

Watermelon lemonade

 

Ingredients

1 watermelon | 200g of caster sugar | 3 glasses of water | 1 glass of lemon juice | Ice cubes

 

Preparation

Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove seeds. Pour the pieces of watermelon and lemon juice in a blender and mix until slushed. Pour sugar and water in a pan and heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat when the sugar is completely dissolved, pour the syrup over the watermelon / lemon juice and chill for two hours. Pour ice into glasses and top with watermelon lemonade. Garnish each glass with a piece of watermelon and serve.
