We're not asking you cut to off sugar completely, but reducing its consumption guarantees a healthier lifestyle. Here are some tips to consume sugar intelligently and moderately.

- According to a study from the Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas, a high sugar consumption can proliferate precancerous lesions, which can contribute to the onset of certain cancers, such as colon cancer and hormone-dependent cancers...

- Scientific observations show that sugar is more likely to worsen the cancer for people already suffering from it because it has been observed that cancer cells are very large consumers of sugar.

- The excess blood sugar stimulates insulin secretion, which can cause type 2 diabetes.

- Sugar is similar to a real drug in the medical world, as it has been noticed that it stimulates the same nerve tracts than drugs via opiate receptors.

- A diet full of sweets is largely responsible for weight gain, which can lead to obesity.

- Taking less sugar can limit bar strokes and permanent fatigue.

- Less ingested fat and less sugar storage in the body reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems.

- Several studies have shown a correlation between high consumption of sugars and Alzheimer's disease.

- Headaches, sinusitis and skin problems also decrease when sugar consumption is reduced.

- A study published in the Journal of Dental Research in 2013 suggests that by reducing the consumption of sugar to 5 tablespoons per day, it also reduces the risk of tooth decay.
