This is how you move on.

It's never easy to heal a broken heart, especially if you were in a long-term relationship. You will undeniably feel completely miserable at first, but imagine how good it will feel once you pull yourself together! Here is what you should do to get rid of your agonizing heartache.

Shift delete

Get rid of every item that reminds you of him, delete your online conversations, the pictures you’ve posted on social media, and if you’re up for it, even delete his number. You can even try to avoid going to places he might be in, at least until you forget about him.

Start fresh

Nothing beats making a change in your life after having gone through something painful. As trivial as this might seem, you can simply get a new haircut or adopt a new look, meet new people or take up a new hobby to get your mind off him. What keeps you from changing for the better?

Maintain a positive attitude

A breakup might seem like the most horrible thing that can happen to you, but trust us, there’s way worse. Think of the good outcome this breakup resulted in. Now that he’s gone, you can enjoy the single life! Don’t dwell on the past, live like there’s no tomorrow. No matter how much you suffered from a breakup, nothing can stop you from moving on.
