Firefighter Speaks Out About Lady Diana’s Death
It’s been 21 years since Princess Diana passed away in a horrible car crash, and ever since, we’ve all been wondering about the details of the accident. How bad did it look, who spoke to her, what were her last words? Here are all the answers to your questions.
French firefighter Xavier Gourmelon, who was 29 at the time, is the one who did all that he could to give Lady Diana a second chance at life, but it was too late. At the scene of the fatal accident, when the late princess was still able to breathe, she pronounced a few words to the firefighter who was trying to save her at the time. However, according to Gourmelon, the princess didn’t look severely injured. Actually, there was no blood at all! “She was moving very slightly and I could see she was alive. I could see she had a slight injury to her right shoulder but, other than that, there was nothing significant. There was no blood on her at all”, he said.
When he held her hand and told her to stay calm and still, she told him: “My God, what’s happened?” Moments later, her heart stopped, and he had to perform CPR on her himself, which worked at the time. He also said he was certain she would live. But sadly, she passed away at the hospital that same night at 4 am due to severe internal damage.
