Because it tastes so good

  • 1 pie dough
  • 200 g smoked diced bacon
  • 150 g diced white ham
  • 200 g grated cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 40 cl of liquid cream
  • 2 pinches of nutmeg
  • salt pepper

STEP 1 While your oven preheats to 180 ° C (th.6), start by cooking the bacon: boil 1/2 liter of water in a saucepan, dip the bacon in it, make it "whiten" during  1 min (to rid them of their impurities). Collect them in a colander, then fry them (without fat) for 5 minutes in a non-stick skillet and drain on paper towels.

STEP 2 To prepare the "device" of your quiche, simply beat (with a fork or whisk) the eggs in a bowl with the cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper and then add the bacon and diced ham. That's it, we're almost there!

STEP 3 Because you only have to cook it, take the dough out of the refrigerator, put it in a 28 cm diameter pie plate covered with baking paper, put a few fork holes in it, then cover with bacon and ham.

STEP 4 put cheese on all the top with the grated Emmental (or another cheese), then bake the quiche Lorraine for about 40 min, and enjoy it as you please, hot, warm or chilled, with a crisp green salad and well seasoned.
