Johnny Depp gives first public interview since the split
Johnny Depp has been laying it low ever since his ex-wife Amber Heard’s domestic violence accusations. The 53 year old actor finally decided to break the silence and face the cameras; he was a guest at Jonesy’s Jukebox radio talk show on Sunday, June 26, and his host was none other than the former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones.
The interview took place a day after Amber was seen in tears being consoled by a friend because the court date was rescheduled.
Surprisingly, Depp wasn’t asked a single question about the allegations we’ve all been waiting to hear about; there was probably some kind of arrangement with the talk show that they wouldn’t ask anything about the allegation… It was a very safe interview for him. Johnny rather talked about his role in Through the Looking Glass, which is a must-see movie.
A Los Angeles court hearing has been scheduled for 15 and 16 August where Heard will request a permanent restraining order against Depp.
