The MET Gala 2019 was held at New York’s Metropolitan Museum on Monday, May 6. This year’s theme, Camp: Notes on Fashion mainly based on Susan Sontag’s 1964 seminal essay “Notes on Camp”. It was very clear that the absences of our favorite Met Gala stars Rihanna and Beyoncé left empty spaces. However, the event’s host, Lady Gaga stole the show turning all heads to her as she flawlessly moved from one outfit to another in the span of fifteen minutes. The colors that were most spotted were bright pink and black. Gaga’s four of her outfits were designed by Brandon Maxwell. Former boyband member Harry Styles, American professional tennis player Serena Williams, and Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele co-chaired the event besides Gaga. Among all the guests present at the event, we spotted Gigi Hadid in a Michael Kors suit attached to a cape with feathers – a trend sported by many at the event. Sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Winnie Harlow, Ciara, Priyanka Chopra, Taylor Hill, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Cardi B.
