R.I.P Johnny Hallyday: his Wife's Last Love Letter
Johnny Hallyday is dead. He took his last breath on Tuesday night after a long battle against lung cancer. The singer was 74 years old. His wife Laeticia Hallyday announced it in a poignant statement. Here's what she said:
"My man is no more. The father of our two little girls, Jade and Joy, is gone. Laura and David's dad closed his eyes forever. His blue eyes will forever illuminate our home and our souls," Laeticia writes. She continues, "Today, out of respect and love for this extraordinary man who was mine for more than 22 years, to perpetuate his passion for life, we unite all our prayers, and our hearts. We think of him so much that he will forever be by our side, alongside those who listen to his songs, sing and cherish him forever." She finished her statement by showing her gratitude to Johnny's fans. "Johnny was an out-of-the-ordinary man. He will remain so thanks to you. He is and will remain with us forever. My love, I love you so much."
The lovebirds had been married for almost 21 years and are the parents of two young Vietnamese girls. May your soul rest in peace, Johnny...
