SELENA GOMEZ PAYS TRIBUTE TO CHRISTINA GRIMMIE
This weekend, The Voice star Christina Grimmie tragically left this earth after being shot by a fan during a meet-and-greet in Orlando, Florida. Selena Gomez was deeply saddened by the news, so the singer payed tribute to her long-time friend while on her Revival Tour in Florida. She dedicated her rendition of “Transfiguration” to the late artist.
"When she was 14, we met her and my parents and I signed her," said Gomez to the crowd. "One thing about Christina and her family is that she holds her faith so closely to her. And I think it's not about a religion and it's not about anything or good deeds. It's just that she had faith, and I don't really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this next song to her."
The Latino star was very emotional while saying those words and even paused in the middle of a song to pull herself together. We can’t imagine how hard it must be for her...
