This is Why Celine Dion Canceled Las Vegas Concerts
Everyone should focus on their health from time to time, and this is what Celine Dion is doing. The singer’s team revealed on Wednesday that she had to take some time off from work to “undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure” because she has ear issues. This means that she has to cancel her Las Vegas shows in March and April…
It’s been about a year that Dion has been suffering from this condition that she’s been treating with "various ear drop medications" according to her team. Unfortunately, those medications have lost their effectiveness, and this is why she has no choice but have surgery.
Like the role model that she is, the 49-year-old entertainer apologized to fans who had been waiting for her concert. “My luck hasn’t been very good lately ... I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens.” She continued, “I just can’t believe it! I apologize to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I’m so sorry." She’s expected to fully recover by May, and rumor has it that she will reschedule her Colosseum concert on May 22nd. We wish her a speedy recovery!
