Westlife confirm reunion

It’s official! The irish boy band are reuniting! In a video, founding members Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Mark Feehily confrimed their much-anticipated reunion, six years after their split. Writing appeared on the screen, reading: “Westlife. New music. New tour. Coming soon.”

They are seen entering a room where they greet one another. At Shane's prompting, the Flying Without Wings hitmakers say 'Hi, we're Westlife' as Nicky stands up.

The absence of original member Brian McFadden, 38, who left the band in 2004, confirmed he will not be a part of the reunion.

Insiders are talking about upconming songs written by Ed Sheeran.

The Irish pop vocal group originally signed by Simon Cowell in UK, was formed in 1998 in Dublin and disbanded in 2012 . Some of their best hits include If I Let You Go, Uptown Girl, Seasons in the Sun etc.
